Dear client,
In light of the recent developments regarding COVID-19, Jacaranda Maternity would like to inform you of the measures we are taking to ensure the well-being of our clients and employees as well as ensure you have uninterrupted access to our services

What We Are Doing:

  1. We are screening every client and staff at the hospital entry point

  2. We are encouraging our clients to wash and sanitize their hands. We have therefore ensured that hand washing sinks and sanitizers are available at different points in the hospital.

  3. Our hospital surfaces are cleaned thoroughly and regularly in accordance with the WHO (World Health Organization) and Kenya Ministry of Health recommendations

  4. We are encouraging our clients to come alone for their clinics and for minors to be escorted by one parent. This is to avoid overcrowding in our outpatient clinic. Only patients will be allowed in the Outpatient waiting area and we shall maintain social distance between patients

  5. We are encouraging our clients to use cashless payments. You can pay with Mpesa or swipe your card

  6. Visiting hours for our inpatient clinic is from 4 pm-6 pm . Where the visitor is restricted to 20 minutes. Visitors are limited to the next of kin only.

  7. Visitors with symptoms of fever, cough or flu like symptoms will not be allowed to visit hospital patients

  8. We have established  an isolation area in the hospital for any COVID-19 suspected  case

What You Can Do

  1. Take extra precautions- including frequent hand washing, covering your mouth and nose when sneezing or coughing

  2. Practice social distancing- maintain at least a 2 meter distance from everyone at the hospital

  3.  Visit the hospital only if necessary or if to attend one of your appointment based clinics
